Latest Updates from Our Project:
24 Left!! And Purple Takes the Cake.

– Fri, May 01, 2020 at 01:01:26 AM
And by cake I mean the 3rd spot in our $5.3k Stretch Goal: 3x Color Tokens. Check out the stretch goals chart below to see what each backer at each reward level gets as a free gift for supporting this project.
If you saw our previous update, or the comments section, you may have seen that we got some colors mixed up. Instead of switching them around on our own, we asked you all to tell us which colors you wanted the most. And purple was the clear winner.
So what about Pink?
Pink will now be joining Brown in our final stretch goal at $14.0k.
But I have some good news for those who voted forPink. Pink received enough votes in the poll we sent out that we have decided to make 1 Inch Pink Translucent Color Tokens available as an add-on for purchase in our Backerkit store whether or not the $14.0k goal is met. That way, you can still get your hands on your favorite color.
Poor little Brown only received 6% of the weighted votes... Mark my words. The brown tokens won't forget this. The brown tokens never forget. They will return one day in the future! Maybe in the next 24 hours if we crush it! Let's unlock every stretch goal. Come on!
24 Hours Left!
The level of support you have all shown for this project has been amazing! Thank you for sticking with us to the end. The fun, and the work, is just beginning.
There is still plenty to do. We're still working on getting new pictures and information added to the page before funding closes. And as more comments and messages come in we'll be updating the FAQs page. If anyone has questions, or just wishes to voice their concerns, let us know.
We hope to publish a 'post-campaign' timeline as soon as the details are worked out. Stay tuned.
Surprise Kraken Anyone?
I love this idea from Tactical James. Use the smaller tokens to represent tentacles on a kraken. Brilliant! I'm getting so many encounter ideas from this.
Look at those eyes though. I can't help but think Mr. Kraken is judging me. - Tactical Dave
Updated Stretch Goals:
I want to thank you all again for backing this project. Words cannot fully express how grateful I am for each and every one of you.
Based on the responses we receive, appropriate changes will be made as to which of the three color tokens go where in the order of stretch goals. One color token will take the spot in question in our $5.3k Stretch Goal. And the other two color tokens will take over the $14.0k Stretch Goal spot. Our final stretch goal.
Voting will close April 30th, at 8PM EST. Results will be published shortly thereafter.
Behold! ...er
We are dangerously close to unlocking this Aberration! Like a single pledge away as of writing this update.
Beholders might be large creatures but in order to keep things cost effective for this project we went with a 1 inch size. Luckily thanks to the stickiness and stack-i-ness of Tactical Tokens, it is effortless to make this awesome looking Beholder token any size you need it to be. And with the extra space on the 2 inch token you can write in spell effects, or elevation, or hp, or whatever is most useful to you and your game.
Cyan and Orange Unlocked!
Geez. So much has been going on in the last 24 hours we didn't even formally announce the last two stretch goals that we unlocked yet.
Cyan and Orange! Woo!

Thank you for your support. Thank you for being patient. Thank you for pointing out mistakes. Thank you being awesome. We cannot wait to share these tokens with you all!

The Final Days: Big Update on Cases, Stretch Goals, and The Finish Line
almost 5 years ago
– Tue, Apr 28, 2020 at 01:16:48 AM
It's going to be a busy and exciting final 3 days! Are you ready?
Now it's always best to deliver the worse news first right? Okay.
Carrying cases might not be delivered to us until August 2020 or later. The company who will be supplying our cases has been impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. We have yet to even receive the samples we ordered. The true delivery date is unclear. All we know for sure is that the carrying cases have been delayed.
I assure you our token operation remains unaffected. Token production and fulfillment of this Kickstarter will continue as planned.
We just unlocked that stretch goal. So what does that mean for backers?
All backers who would have received a carrying case as part of their reward thanks to the unlocked stretch goal ($40+ tiers) will be given a choice in their backer survey:
A. Wait for the cases to arrive and receive everything together in a single shipment.
B. Receive the reward packages as scheduled without the unlocked carrying cases and receive a coupon code to use in our online store at TacticalTokens.com for the value of the cases.
This also means that any reward packs purchased as an add-on in Backerkit will not come with a carrying case. The 'case compensation' coupon will only be offered once and only for the default reward level. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to send us a message.
We will keep you all updated on the status of the carrying cases as we move forward. Thank you for your understanding.
Stretch Goal Update: Divide and Color
In light of the situation surrounding the carrying cases we wanted to give you all a better chance to unlock some stretch goals sooner. So we've split up our original $10.4k stretch goal of 3x New Color Tokens (Cyan, Light Green, Orange) into 3 separate goals. Now that they're split up, we want you to tell us which colors you want unlocked first.
We are also excited to announce that we will make the remaining 3 stretch goal color tokens available as add-ons to purchase in Backerkit whether or not we reach their respective funding goals. For the translucent color tokens, a missed stretch goal just means that color won't be automatically included with reward packages.
Square Tokens Footage
NOTE: The above video features prototypes with sharp-cornered squares. The final tokens will have rounded-corner squares.
You have expressed excitement a few times around the 1 Inch Square tokens. We're happy to finally show them off. We had to go with sharp-cornered squares for the prototypes simply because that was the mold we had on-hand and we wanted to show them off before the campaign ended. We think you'll really like the finished product. The squares might be my new favorite token. - Tactical Dave.
Reward Packs as Add-ons
Will reward packs purchased as an add-on in Backerkit include the unlocked stretch goals?
It depends.
We've decided to create two versions of each reward pack in our add-on store:
1. Expanded: Includes the base reward pack + any unlocked stretch goals (carrying case not included).
2. Base: Includes only the base reward pack as listed in the project rewards (carrying case not included).
The expanded packs will be the same price as their reward tier here on Kickstarter. While the base packs will be discounted slightly as they do not include any of the unlocked stretch goals. These variations will only be available at these reduced rates to Kickstarter backers. So if you have not made your pledge yet, make sure you pledge at least at the $1 Tactical Support reward level to lock in these Kickstarter exclusive prices.
And be sure to pledge above your selected reward tier minimum to receive that amount in Backerkit store credit for purchase of any add-ons.

1 Inch Square Tokens Unlocked! It's Hip to Be Square.

We did it folks! With just about 10 days left in the campaign we are keeping great momentum!
Next Up: Carrying Cases
As you see in the image above, currently only the Essentials Pack ($40) and Masters Pack ($80) will be given free carrying cases when we unlock this goal. We are still working on getting nice cases for those who pledged at the Starter Pack ($20) and $10 Pack reward levels. And of course, those who pledged at our $1 Tactical Support pledge will be able to purchase any case they want in our Backerkit Store later.
We are currently waiting on delivery of some sample cases. The minute they arrive we'll begin rigorous testing to pick the best ones. They should arrive any day now.
We already have really nice packaging for each of the reward levels but cases are a beast of a different color.
While each of the options in the above photo look great, we know they aren't truly carrying cases. With the exception of the $40 Essentials Pack (Top Right). That case is likely to be the case we pick for the Essentials Pack.
And with so many stretch goals getting unlocked, we want to make sure each carrying case we pick can also hold all these new tokens you're getting.
So here's to unlocking another stretch goal!
Thank you all for your support!
- Dave & James
